A warm and welcoming family in the Portage Park neighborhood is seeking a reliable, part-time (as-needed) nanny to care for their two children — a 4-year-old and a 4-month-old baby. Start early September.

Schedule & Flexibility:
The family is looking for help a few times per month from 4:00–7:00 PM. Scheduling will be provided at least a few weeks in advance. They hope to gradually increase hours as trust and rapport develop. Some schedule flexibility is appreciated.

Transportation:
A car is required for this role. While driving distances are short, traffic may result in about an hour of total drive time, so comfort with city driving is important.

Ideal Candidate:
They are looking for someone kind, patient, and engaging—especially someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and adores babies. The right person will be dependable, caring, and warm.

Responsibilities Include:

Bottle-feeding the infant
Preparing a light dinner for the 4-year-old
General tidying related to the children (no household chores beyond that)

Please note: The family has a cat, though you're unlikely to encounter her during your shifts.

Compensation & Perks:

$23/hour starting pay
