Full-Time Nanny Needed for One Child – Loving Glenview Family

A warm and welcoming family in Glenview is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their fun and active 4-year-old son. They are hoping to find someone who is nurturing, engaging, and excited to become part of the family for the long term. A vehicle is required for this position.

Schedule:

Monday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Tuesday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Friday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
(Some flexibility is appreciated.)

What They’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate is energetic, kind, and confident in caring for preschool-aged children. Excellent communication and a proactive attitude are a must, along with a genuine love for children and a desire to grow with the family. Flexibility is appreciated as both parents occasionally travel for work—any changes to the schedule will be communicated in advance.

Responsibilities Include:

Engaging with the child through play, conversation, and activities
Preparing meals and snacks for the child
Packing lunches during the school year
Light housekeeping related to the child (tidying kitchen and play areas)
Family laundry
Running occasional errands (e.g., quick grocery trips)

Bonus Skills (Not Required but Appreciated):

Spanish-speaking candidates are a plus! The child has been learning Spanish with a previous nanny.
Pet-friendly – the family plans to adopt a dog in the future. No pet care duties will be required, but comfort around dogs is important.
