A family in Skokie is seeking a dependable after-school nanny to care for their 14-year-old daughter three days per week. The child is on the autism spectrum and is fairly independent, but benefits from supervision, guidance, and assistance with getting home from the school bus.

Responsibilities will include preparing after-school snacks, providing homework support, light housekeeping related to the child, and occasional dinner preparation. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children on the autism spectrum, as well as confidence supporting teenage girls. A patient, hands-on, and proactive caregiver would be an excellent fit for this role.

A reliable car is required. The family also has a cat in the home.

Schedule:

Monday: 3:30–5:30 PM
Tuesday: 3:00–6:00 PM
Thursday: 3:00/3:30–5:30 PM
